Tiffany Pippen, LCSW, and MPA's Community Support Therapist facilitated a webinar on handling pandemic fatigue on Thursday, March 11. Thank you Tiffany! Here are some of the takeaways:

Tiffany asked the group to distinguish between healthy and unhealthy habits prior to the pandemic that either went away or were exacerbated by the ongoing pandemic. She then gave the group key guidance on creating healthy habits that last:

  • Be aware.
  • Make a plan.
  • Stay on track.
  • Think about the future.
  • Be patient.

The group then discussed mindfulness and the different ways each person has practiced mindfulness in their daily lives.

Following the mindfulness practice, the group then created health habit action plans, following the SMART format for goals:

  • Specific
  • Measurable
  • Achievable
  • Relevant
  • Timely

The full presentation created and shared by Tiffany during the webinar can be viewed here. Please share this information with anyone you feel has been burnt out or not themselves during the pandemic, and let us know how you practice mindfulness and what your SMART goals are!
