Discussion Topic: The Role of Support Systems
This discussion focuses on the importance of connection, understanding, and community in the lives of Birth Mothers/Parents as they navigate their unique experiences. It provides space to reflect on the different types of support available—such as family, friends, peers, counselors, and support groups—and how each can contribute to emotional healing and resilience. The conversation also explores the challenges of seeking or accepting support, especially when feelings of isolation, stigma, or grief are present. Participants are encouraged to consider what healthy support looks like for them personally and how building or strengthening those networks can foster comfort, stability, and a sense of belonging over time.
Don't forget, you must RSVP in order to receive the Zoom login on meeting day!
