This discussion explores how relationships can shift after an adoption placement—both with others and with ourselves. We’ll talk openly about how friendships, family dynamics, romantic relationships, and connections with the adoptive family may change over time, and the complex emotions that can come with those changes. Together, we’ll create space to reflect on boundaries, communication, grief, growth, and resilience, honoring that there is no “right” way to navigate relationships after placement—only what feels healthy and true for each individual.
