This discussion focuses on the many ways birthmothers experience ongoing change throughout their lives, both expected and unexpected. It creates space to explore how transitions—such as shifts in relationships, family dynamics, career paths, health, or personal identity—can bring up complex emotions connected to their adoption experience. Participants are encouraged to reflect on how past decisions and current circumstances intersect, and how they adapt, cope, and grow through periods of uncertainty or transformation. The topic also highlights resilience, self-compassion, and the importance of support systems when navigating life’s evolving chapters.
