This discussion offers a supportive space for birthmothers to explore the experience of parenting after an adoption placement. We’ll talk about the complex emotions that can arise—such as joy, grief, fear, comparison, guilt, or healing—and how past placement may influence parenting choices, attachment, and self-confidence. Together, we’ll reflect on identity, boundaries, and self-compassion, honoring that parenting after placement looks different for everyone and that growth and healing can coexist with love and presence.
